GENO’S

Geno’s Rock Club is a legendary Portland dive bar and performance venue, established circa 1983. Featuring incredible local rock talent, Geno’s is the perfect place to meet fellow rock enthusiasts. The only problem is, I’m 16, not 21. I need to sneak my way into Geno’s in order to hear the music. This place crosses all the lines with edgy Metal bands, frequent drag shows, benefit shows, themed dance parties, movie screenings like Rocky Horror Picture Show and on and on and on. Still, the people you meet there are the kindest and coolest people you’ll ever run into. Geno’s is nothing like any other music spot in Portland, and it draws some of the most unique and welcoming people in the whole city. Head to Geno’s for a good time at 625 Congress Street.
